Companies like Microsoft, a company most famous for its operating systems for home computers, are constantly updating products like their X-Box gaming system to rival PC gamers.
A home PC holds the advantage for now, but how long will their reign stay true? A constant evolution of technology could come as a refresher for the home computer. The future could bring HAL-like homes, without the mishaps. Something like a computer powered home is still a ways away, but PC technology is ever creeping on that doorstep!
