Have you ever heard of Minecraft? Minecraft is a video game which you can play on any device, for example, computers, televisions, phones, and even tablets. Everything in the game is blocks, and I mean everything!
If you are playing on a computer, which most people do, you press W to walk forward, S to walk backward, A to walk left, and D to walk right. With a computer mouse, to click the left button on the mouse to do anything. For example, chopping wood, mining stone, or even just walking forward.
You can watch "How To Play Minecraft" tutorials on YouTube. I don't necessarily remember how you play it completely; I am pretty sure I missed some important things though.
Minecraft is a popular game! You have a choice to play on Singleplayer or Multiplayer.
Singleplayer is where you are the only one in the game. Multiplayer is when you play on servers with other real people. You can also get mods and texture packs. Mods are where you download something that adds something new to Minecraft. You can get furniture mods, which allows you to get and make furniture for your house! A texture pack is when you change the look Minecraft looks like. For all of you computer experts, this is the hard part about all of this.
Sometimes people make Minecraft videos on YouTube. They have a computer program which they can screen record videos. They can make comedy videos or just record themselves playing mini games. Some Minecraft YouTubers are StampyLongHead and TheDiamondMinecart. My favorite Minecraft YouTubers are ExplodingTNT and PinkSheep. They have such hilarious videos, and they try to custom make things into Minecraft by themselves.
Minecraft has been around since 2009. It has changed so much over the years, and I have played it for the longest time. When I go on servers, I had so many friends. They are so hilarious and such great internet friends. I never met any of them in real life, but they are incredibly amazing.
The real question is, why is Minecraft so important? It's important because you can learn things at such a young age that are important. I didn't know what birch or spruce trees were. I didn't know what a Tundra or a Mesa biome is. I didn't know what iron or red stone was. I didn't know that mushrooms grow on bedrock.
They're so many things that I learned from Minecraft. If you are a mother or father, you should let your young kids play Minecraft. They learn different things and get so much knowledge inside their heads.
I hope many people start playing Minecraft more because it is fun and informing. It's like real life but block like. Remember this is a point of view from an eleven-year-old, you might have a different opinion on this video game.
